At greenbuilding.com we wondered if a renovation that took place 7 years ago would still have relevance today. But many of the materials, techniques and best practices used to build an office are still as important, appropriate and valid today. So, here's a journal-style documentation of David Johnston's office addition from planning and deconstruction through interior work and computer networking. We thought a journal format would give you a better sense of renovation time frames, chronology, as well as prepare you for the feeling of elation and stress that tend to accompany specific remodeling stages.
